William Hill Swingers: The Masters Countdown
Prove to your mates that you know your golf and win free bets in our second William Hill Swingers competition.
Following on from our Best In The West competition we’re counting down to The Masters with another prize pool of £1,000 in free bets to give away in our golf prediction competition, William Hill Swingers: The Masters Countdown.
There are only five legs in this competition as we lead up to The Masters in Augusta, but it doesn’t matter if you miss one as a big win in one of the later weeks could easily put you towards the top of the The Masters Countdown Leaderboard, just look at our last competition leaderboard and see how just a couple of correct predictions can put you in the money.
If you’re at the top of the leaderboard when the competition finishes on 5th April, after the Shell Houston Open, you’ll win the first prize of £500.00 in free bets but there are free bet prizes to be won right down to 20th position as we’re giving away a total of £1,000.00. (Prize table)

What do I have to do?
Entering the competition is simple:
- Click the link in the table above to go to the competition entry page.
- Pick the three players you think will do best, or more importantly earn you the biggest returns, in the tournament.
- Give us a few details so we can track your entry.
Every active account that enters the competition gets a mythical £10 each-way bet on each of your three picks for the Tournament Winner market, which pays 1/4 the odds down to fifth place. The returns you would receive at the end of the tournament will be added up and go on our leaderboard.
An account is active, and therefore an entry will qualify, if there has been sports betting activity of at least £5.00 cumulative stakes between the dates shown in the rules below.
Each leg’s entry page will be available from midday Tuesday, at the latest, and you have until the first tee-time of the first round to enter.

Entry and qualification:
Entries for each leg will only be accepted if made by active William Hill Online Sportsbook account holders.
An account is deemed active if there is at least £5.00 cumulative sports betting activity between Monday and Friday inclusive in the week of the respective leg per the schedule below

If an entry is made and there is no sports betting activity then any returns will not count towards the final total.
Entries will be accepted up to the official first tee-time of round one of the tournament in each leg. Entries received after this time may not be accepted if taken in error and any returns will not count towards the final total.
Entries appearing on the leaderboard during the competition may not necessarily have met the qualification criteria.
It is your responsibility to ensure that the information supplied is correct. Incorrect emails/usernames will not be processed or tally up with previous legs of the competition. Emails/usernames that do not exactly match previous legs’ entries will not count towards the final total.
Normal William Hill terms apply including section 4.8 regarding Duplicate Accounts.
Resulting and settlement:
Each leg will be settled according to William Hill Online’s normal golf betting rules, including dead heat rules.
The returns will be based on a mythical £10 each-way single on the ¼ Odds Places 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 Tournament Winner markets at the prices displayed on the entry form.
Three different players must be selected each week however, the same player can be selected in different legs. If the same player is selected twice in a week then returns will only count once.
The entries received each leg from matching email/username combinations will be totalled together and the top 20 total returns will receive free bet prizes as detailed in the table below.

Standard Free Bet Rules Apply:
One free bet per customer/account/household.
Free bet tokens are non-refundable. The free bet stake is not included in any returns. The Estimated Return on the Bet Slip and the Bet Receipt indicate returns with stake.
If your free bet selection is a non-runner then the free bet is void but the free bet token will not be re-credited to your account.
A free bet token cannot be partially redeemed. If you attempt to place a bet for lesser total stake than the value of the free bet token, you will not receive any cash change or further free bet tokens.
Free bets are available online via the sportsbook only. Bets struck on our mobile/WAP or telephone betting service will not qualify.
